The RNA Institute of the University at Albany has received a gift, valued at $400,000, that will greatly enhance its ribonucleic acid-based research capabilities. Sigma-Aldrich, a St. Louis-based life science and high technology company, has given the center about 200,000 molecules of several types of small RNAs, some for humans and some for mice.
